That's a first.. It was very docile, and it was hanging on a curtain above the TV the whole day, probably wanted to stay warm. Now, I don't mind bugs, but not in the house. I sent it back outside, where it hopefully belongs.

You fool! That was a rare and endangered species, livingus roomus wasp! You've sent it to its death!

My parents discovered a wasp nest outside their bedroom window last week. They probably settled there because it was sheltered from the rain and next to the warm A/C. So my dad pointed a hair dryer at them, they buzzed off and then he poked the nest with a chopstick so it fell downstairs.

I once drew that exact wasp in art class.

If it were in my house it would have been destroyed with extreme malice

Sort of like this, insects placed outside. So few things like this happen here in NYC. But if it does, I'll try and put the bug outside. I am not an asshole. At least I don't think I am ....

You...YOU LET IT LIVE??! Damnit man, they are the enemy! We can't afford to show weakness to them during a home invasion like that!
When they take over washington DC and hold the president at stinger point with ransom demands next week, we'll know who to blame for it.

I had one the other day too. I was facetiming my Gpa when I saw it and casually mentioned to my wife "look, a wasp". "Are you serious?!" "Um, yes". She went into lockdown mode, hiding our daughter with her in the bedroom until I killed it.

Wasps don't get much love in my country. In recent summers they have been appearing in huge numbers and some people are really bothered by them.
I'm totally fine with wasps. I even like how they look. Black and yellow make them look really sporty and fast.

You obviously have no compassion for your fellow man. All you've done is consign some other poor, hapless soul to misery and torment, because these things are stone cold killers. I hope you can sleep at night.

Hm, once had wasps (multiple...) crawling out the AC in a hotel room... Splatted one, wrapped it up, and showed the front desk. Lady did not like that, but I did get a different room :-)
And no, not some low-end hotel either :-/ But, it was the last time I stayed at that particular one.

A mahogany wasp once landed on my foot. I tried to shake it off, but it stuck on. Then it flew away. I opened the door, and it flew away. Needless to say, I was petrified, and stayed still only because I have some common sense, in that I know that they're actually rather docile creatures, if you don't try to kill them...
